Spay & Neuter Your Pet Today
and Leave The Breeding To The Professionals!

Because the folks here at Today’s Pet believe in responsible pet ownership, we recommend all puppies to be spayed or neutered. To help with this relatively painless procedure, Today’s Pet in conjunction with Liberty Animal Clinic would like to extend to all of our puppy purchasing customers a certificate for 25% off spaying and neutering fees. Ask for yours when you buy your puppy from Today's Pet!

What Are The Advantages Of Spaying Or Neutering My Pet?

  • Prevents pet population explosion. A roaming male can impregnate several females in heat in a single day.
  • Provides better health for your pet. Early spaying eliminates the potential problems and risks associated with pregnancy, birth, uterine disease and decreases the incidents of mammary tumors later in life.
  • Prostate problems and testicular tumors are also eliminated when an animal has been neutered at a young age.
  • Contrary to popular belief neither procedure will cause your pet to become lazy or get fat. Eating too much of the wrong foods and not exercising properly will in fact cause these problems!
  • NO SEXUAL FRUSTRATIONS! Males, sensing a female in heat will often jump fences, break away from a leash, or even jump out of a car window, in desperate efforts to get to the female. Roaming animals may be hit by passing vehicles, get into fights, or become disoriented and lost. Neutered males will generally stop mounting other pets, peoples' legs or home furnishings which can be annoying. Spayed cats will stop pacing and crying.
  • Spaying eliminates the estrous or heat periods when females will have bloody discharges which can occur within the first nine months of age and continue several times each year causing your pet to become irritable and uncomfortable.
  • Most pets should be spayed or neutered at approximately six months of age.
Think about your pet's well being...
